salam pax is back

Salam had no entries this weekend, and I think we all thought of the worst. But he's back online today. Keep checking, he might have news from Baghdad.

This is a real War. I personally support it, but I don't like it. Must evil always be so costly to fight? How have we Americans managed to (mostly) avoid this type of horror within our own land? Luck? The electoral college? Hybrid vigor? The grace of God?

Salam has posted a pic that's so very funny.
The true situation is awful, yet that pic is SO funny...

In the words of Thomas Jefferson: "... the tree of Liberty must be watered from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants..."

How Americans managed to avoid that type of horror? America is only 200 years old, and already been in more wars then many ten times older European nations...
